The OSP Pracademic Lab (‘Lab’) was formed in 2025 for members of the London School of Economics (‘LSE’) Organizational and Social Psychology (‘OSP’) community. It builds on the work of Dr Barry Rogers at the LSE for over 25 years. Barry is the Founding Director of the Pracademic Lab.
The specific focus of the Lab is to bridge the realities of rigour and relevance and to produce ‘middle’ knowledge that supports insightful understanding and impactful use. Membership of the Lab is focused around a private LinkedIn page and is open to individuals who are members of the LSE OSP community (past and present).
The Pracademic Lab has a non-traditional structure. Its membership extends into the real-world beyond the strict boundaries of the LSE, with a “JV-like’’ (joint-venture) operating model. At its core, the Lab builds on the founding Fabian ideals of the LSE; to ‘know the causes of things’ for the betterment of society.
If you are an OSP graduate please make sure to join up. More broadly, if you find that pracademia resonates with you or your work we would also love to hear from you. Our contact details are below.
